Steamworks Island Walkthrough & Cheat Guide



The Steamworks Island Walkthrough is ready for you to check out! This is the fourteenth island and is pretty “techy” if you ask me. There are a lot of machines and robots that you have to deal with including an evil boss at the end of the island.

You will find out real quick that there are not a lot of other people walking around while you are exploring this Steamworks. That is part of what you have to do; find out why everyone is missing. You will run into some interesting robots and you even get to use some machines yourself.

Click on the Clockwork building, you have to complete the puzzle with gears.  The picture below shows where to put the gears.

Walk to your right and click on the dumpster.  You will find a steam battery.  Jump up on top of the Clockwork building and flip the lever.  Use the cannon as a bridge, then jump up the wind chute to the top of the level.  When you get to the top, go to the right and use your multi tool to open the roof latch.

Go down the hatch then click on the picture on the wall.  Then climb up the ladder to go back on the roof.  Drop down from the roof and go into the door below you.  Jump on top of the large steamworks scooper machine to the right.  Click it to turn it on.  Use the scoop as a platform to jump up.

You need to jump up and over to the left then climb up the vines to the top..  You will find a glass beaker at the top.  Drop down and exit the building.  Go to your left and jump on the right side of the large see-saw like device.  Use the left side as a platform to jump.

Jump on top of the robot crab to neutralize it.  You will also find Sally’s key up here.  Drop back down and jump up the wind vent to get on top of the house.  Here you will find an old vine.  Jump down from the house and run to your right until you get to Sully’s store.

Take out your steam battery in front of his store and connect the dots to turn it on.  Watch the video to see how to connect the dots.  Enter the store and go to the left to pick up the rubber mallet.  Go to the right side of the store and click on the grey and silver ball.  Ask if he is Sully.  His name is Sprocket and he will help you through the level.

Exit the store and run all the way to the right until you see a gold hatch that looks like a giant bell.  Take out the robot crab here.  Sprocket will drop the crab on the hatch the open it.  Go down the hatch.  Walk to your left until you fall down one level, then go to your right.

Take out your old vine here to defeat the creature.  Keep going right until you drop down, then go left and jump up to the old diver’s helmet.  Click on it and you have to do a maze puzzle game.  You should watch the video to see how to do this since it’s hard to explain.  You have to do the maze three times.

This turns on the power to something.  Exit this area the same way you came in.  When you climb out of the hatch, go to your right then jump up to the left.  Use the spring to jump up to the switch.  Click on the switch to turn on the wheel.  Jump over to the left and use the vines to climb to a higher platform.

Jump onto the rotating platform then up and to the right.  Use the air vent to jump  onto the grassy platform.  Jump over to the left and use the vines to jump the gap.  Click on the golden doorway to enter.

Something grabs Sprocket.  Drop down and click on the windows to close them and free your robot friend.  Ask him where he last saw him.  Jump up to the top of this room by hopping onto the lifting platforms that rise to the top.  Complete the puzzle at the top by aligning all of the arrows with the correct numbers.

Enter the doorway then walk to the left.  You will pick up a Steamworks bridge key.  Jump up to pick up the Wind Whacker.  Exit the room, drop down and walk to your right.  You will fall off a cliff.  Keep going to the right until you see a box with yellow and black caution tape on it.

Take out your steam battery and connect the dots again to activate the battery.  This will activate a drawbridge.  Walk to your right and use the spring to bounce up to the next level.  Click on the thing with three buttons and adjust them all the way down, then hit the green button.

This will drop a wrecking ball through the floor.  Go down the hole, drop down and go to the right.  Go to the left and click on the three circular buttons on the wall when you drop down.  Then walk to the right and click on the three buttons over there.

Drop back down to the middle and jump on top of the red platform/lever.  Sprocket will hold one of them down while you jump on the other one.  This turns on a rotating platform up above.  Jump up to it then use it to get to the next level.  Walk to your left and use the rotating platform again to jump to the left this time.

Jump across to the other platforms then click on the red button.  Run back to the right and climb up the vine.   Then walk to your left.  You need to time it correctly to get past the creature dropping balloons.  The easiest way is actually to just walk through it.

Climb to the left across the vines and you will find a Mech Steam Motor.  Jump up and climb the vine out of the room.  Go to your left and use the dirty beaker you found earlier.  Click on each of the colors to make a mixture of the chemicals.

Jump up to the top of the room where you will find a plant creature.  Take out your herbicide mixture you made earlier.  This will kill the plant.  Click on the door between the two platforms.  Click on the robot guy in the corner and you will find a living quarters key.

Exit the room then jump up to the vines to climb out of the building.  When you get to the top, use your rubber mallet to break a hole in the glass.  Walk to your left all the way until you get to the see-saw device.  Jump on the right side again then use the other side as a jumping platform.

Take out your battery when you are near the box with the yellow and black stripes.  Complete the puzzle again to activate the battery.  Enter too door way and go to the left side of the room and click on the lever to activate the lift.  Jump on the platform to get to the next floor.  Walk to the right and jump the gaps, then climb the ladder to the third floor.

Jump to the left across the gaps and you’ll find a doorway.  Ask Sprocket to show you Zach again.  Walk to the left side of the room and climb up the vines.  Click on the group of squares on the wall.  You need to uncover the squares and connect the pipes, then click the lever when you are done.  It should look like this:

After you complete the last puzzle, a ladder will drop down.  Climb it and exit the building to your left.  Walk to your left and you will find a mech crank.  Then drop down and go to your right.  You will fall down then keep walking right until you see a hexagon shaped doorway, go inside.  Ask Sprocket “Being able to fly must be pretty awesome huh?”   Jump up the platforms to the Steamworks mech machine.  Take out your mech crank and then your mech motor.  Get inside of the machine and you will find a teleporter.

Take out your weed whacker attachment then exit the building and walk to the left.  Click on the hexagon doorway that is blocked by weeds to whack them down.  Then enter the doorway, go to the left and use the bounce platform to get to the next level.  Get out of your mech, then jump on top of it.  Jump over to your left to reach the power switch.

Turn on the power then get back into your mech and ride to the next floor.  Walk to the right and then rise to the next floor.  To your left you’ll find a creature shooting things at you.  Keep running/jumping towards him until you can get close enough to hit him with the weed whacker.

Get up to the next floor then take the moving platform across the gap.  On the next floor there is a creature with a long tongue that sticks out and hits you.  Time your jump so you don’t get hit by his tongue, then hit him with the weed whacker.  Exit through the doorway.

Go to the left and you will find that your mech is blocked.  Hit the fan blade with your weed whacker a few times to start the fan.  Once the fan has started, jump on top of your mech then on to one of the fan blades.  Ride it all the way to the top then jump off at the very top.

You will find a large gear at the top, take out your multi tool to turn it.  This will stop the fan and unlock the door below.  Get into your mech and go through the door.  Go to your left until you see a machine with a round glass top.  Get out of your mech and take out your multi tool to activate the machine.

Zach will pop out of one of the pods and they will thank you for freeing them after many years.  Ask the woman “200 years?”  The ground starts shaking and they say there is trouble.  You need to go to the right and jump up the platforms to find the toxic blaster.

Once you have the toxic blaster, get back in your mech and take the elevator down a level.  Use the toxic blaster now.  There will be creatures flying at you so you need to shoot them down using the spacebar.  Drop down then go to the left and you will drop down again.

Keep heading to the right and take the moving platform across the gap.  At the end of the gap you’ll find a door, go through it.  There is a large plant monster blocking the hallway.  The best way to get past it is to keep shooting at it and watch out for its head when it comes at you.

Go up to the next floor and you’ll find another plant monster that shoots at you.  Keep shooting it until it is knocked out.  On the top floor there is another plant monster.  You can kill it the same way, just time your shots and watch out for its head.  After you’ve defeated the creature, you will be awarded the Steamworks Island medal!

  8. i got glitched out of my robot AND it keeps moving away from me when i try to get back in

  10. look at the paper that has the num. and colors then add the 2 top num. together then 9 – 5 = 4 so the color without thenum. is 4 so yeah.
